CNN host Dana Bash typically registers among the sea of corporatist, establishment-fluffing career media hacks populating the cable news shows. So it came as something of a surprise when Bash went off script recently and questioned Democrats’ electoral strategy of shunning an invitation from wildly popular podcaster Joe Rogan — especially because of how well an appearance helped Bernie Sanders in a previous presidential race.
