  • Thelma Barlow Interview
It's not often you get to sit down and chat with a bona fide Corrie legend, but we had the chance to do just that recently when we spoke to Thelma Barlow, the actress behind the beloved newsagent Mavis Wilton. In this interview, Thelma talks about how she got into acting, her fondest memories of working on the cobbles and life after Corrie, including the new short film that she recently starred in, Sleepless In Settle. To watch Sleepless In Settle yourself, head to https://youtu.be/3CfCQKjj-Xw?si=iDozCFCQfpgL_31r To see a video version of this interview, visit https://youtu.be/VXyKJkk8bm0

  • Conversation Street Episode #677
On our latest podcast, we chat about the drama on the cobbles between the 21st and the 25th April (Episodes #11,549 - 11,554). Todd and Theo's secret affair is out! It was bound to happen at some point, but this week Danielle caught her husband and the undertaker snogging in the factory - and we're struggling to sympathise with the strong-armed scaffolder, to be honest.. But is he fooling himself by going back to his wife by the end of Wednesday's episode? Also on the romance front this week, we get to see true love rekindled for Julie and Brian and 100% fake love between Jenny and Dom - or one-sided love at least. Will Jenny rumble him before she parts with her cash, and will Daisy realise that she's being scammed too? Also this week, Betsy and Lauren go for a spin, Dylan asserts his dominance and Debbie panics ahead of her MRI results. Up next on the podcast, we celebrate Jack P Shepherd's CBB win in The Kabin then finish things off with a bit of feedback. Street Talk - 00:11:35 The Kabin - 02:24:45 Feedback - 02:29:38

  • Corrieliminator Round 10
In the last round of the Corrieliminator heats, we pit the final thirty characters against each other, ranking them and saving three from Corrielimination. We've got some more big names this round, including the big man himself, Ken Barlow - rather fitting that he's held on this far, don't you think? If you want to have your say on who from this round should make it through to the Grand Finale in the listener votes, select your top three here! https://forms.gle/1CyY7KfKjGa78jbU8 You can check out the video version of this episode over at our YouTube page here: https://youtu.be/FzyDsY2-kC4

  • Conversation Street Episode 676
On our latest episode of Conversation Street, we chat about the goings on in Corrie between the 14th and the 18th April 2025 (Episodes #11,543 - 11,548) This week saw the confirmation of a theory many fans have been predicting for the past month or so – that Brody is indeed the child of Mick and Lou. That revelation immediately ramped up the drama in Friday’s episode, as Sean became the victim of a vicious beating at Mick’s hands – but what’s this going to mean for Gemma’s friendship with the Michaelis? And how will Ronnie react when he finds out Mick’s behind what he thinks is a second ginnel attack? Meanwhile, if last week’s bombshell that Theo has a wife wasn’t enough for Todd, Monday’s episode sees him discover that he also has two teenage kids. Can Todd bring himself to walk away from a relationship that’s turning out to be far more complicated than he ever imagined? Also this week, Debbie throws herself into planning her wedding to Ronnie while she still can, Christina continues her scheme to turn the tables on Jenny, and Dee-Dee pushes ahead with her campaign to improve maternity care for women of colour – but can she really trust Mr Nice Guy Wes? There was very little in the way of Corrie news this week, so we give The Kabin a miss and skip straight onto some listener feedback. Street Talk - 00:18:25 Feedback - 02:41:56

  • Listener Questions
It's time for another Listener Questions segment, and this time, we've got a pair from listeners Jon and Joanne. First off, we're challenged to come up with an all-star Corrie cast, going down the street and only allowing one family from each house from the show's 65-year history. Of course, Ken and Deirdre are a shoe-in for Number 1, but what about the rest of the Street? Then after that, we're asked to share our thoughts on the current state of the Corrie sets - which are some of our favourites, which ones would we like to see less of, and which ones are just in need of a bit of a reboot? As always, we'd love to know your answers to these questions, so write in and let us know!
